The Little Italy Mercato on Christmas Eve was wonderful way to start the day. The weather was warm and sunny and the neighborhood was decorated for the season. This farmers market continues to amaze me. For such a large market, it still feels like a neighborhood market. People bring their dogs and in fact there is a 2012 calendar for sale with dogs of the Little Italy Mercato. There was good music in two different locations. This is always at fun market and Christmas seemed to bring out that extra bit of good cheer. The `Mercato` is located at India and Date every Saturday. This market should not be missed.
